Only the Gloss column is used. Those glosses were written by Tyndale scholars
and carry the CC BY grant. The longer definition column beside them is the
Abridged BDB from Online Bible, whose header asks that permission be gained
before those definitions are applied in a project; it is deliberately not read
and not distributed here.

Japanese glosses: machine translations of the English glosses above, produced
for this app. They have NOT been reviewed by human subject-matter experts. The
English gloss is shown beside the Japanese in the app for that reason.

Katakana readings: generated from the lexicon's own transliteration column,
Erasmian for Greek and modern/Sephardic for Hebrew, being the forms already
established in Japanese. The transliteration does not record Hebrew vowel
length, so a short list of conventional spellings is used for words common
enough to be recognised on sight; everything else is derived and may be short
where Japanese convention would lengthen a vowel.

matches complete surface forms after removing cantillation, retaining vowels.
